Chicken Heart Kabobs with Chipotle-Lime Marinade

Like I promised before, I made chicken hearts kabobs in new marinade – chipotle in adobe sauce and lime juice. I love chipotle in adobe sauce for great hot and smoky flavors. To keep it fresh, I mince peppers with sauce in blender and freeze it just in bag or in ice cube molds.

Chicken Heart Kabobs with Chipotle-Lime Marinade

Yield: 4  skewers

about 0.8 lb. (40 pieces) chicken hearts
1/4 cup chipotle in adobe sauce, minced
2-3 tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
salt

Wash and rinse chicken hearts, discard all blood. Marinated about 4 hours (or overnight) in adobe sauce, mixed with lime juice. Skewer 10 hearts on bamboo stick and grill or fry, in the sprayed skilled or grill, about 20 minutes for both sides.

1 skewer is about 100 calories
