Baked Milk and Cheddar Bread

Baked milk is great by itself, but it’s also add creamy taste for white bread. With Cheddar and Parmesan it’s just great.

Yield 12 slices

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry yeast
1 cup warm baked milk
1 tbsp. butter, melted
2 slices of Cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese (optional)

Mix baked milk, butter, sugar and salt. Add flour and yeast and knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

Let rise in double, covered, in sprayed bowl, about 1 hour.

Roll dough into oval shape, set aside. Add Cheddar slices, fold into a roll. Tuck the edges.

Arrange roll in a greased loaf pan, cover with kitchen towel and let rise about 45 minutes. Sprinkle Parmesan on top.

Bake in preheated (350F) oven about 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and pan and let it cool completely.
