Chocolate caramel Matzo Bark

Very easy dessert. I used almonds, peanuts, sea salt and pearl sugar to decor it. Recipe adapted from Zoe Bakes.

Chocolate caramel Matzo Bark

4-6 unsalted matzos
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Line a baking sheet with foil. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix well melted butter and brown sugar. Spread it evenly over the matzos. Bake for about 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and add the chocolate. Let the chocolate sit for 3-5 minutes and then spread evenly over the matzos. Allow to cool to room temperature. If your kitchen is too warm for the chocolate to set on its own then place in the refrigerator until set. Break into strips or bite sized pieces.
