Cider-Glazed Carrots

Great side dish with sweet-n-sour taste and hot kick. Go well with pork or ham.

1 lb. small carrots (or sliced)
2 tbsp. boiled apple cider
splash of hot sauce, like Tabasco
1 tbsp. butter
pinch of salt

Preheat oven in 350F.

Heat a large nonstick oven-proof skillet over medium-low heat, add butter, let melt, add carrots, mix well to cover. Put in oven and bake about 10 minutes until slightly brown and tender. Glaze carrot with boiled cider, mixed with hot sauce, using cooking brush, return into oven for couple minutes. Serve hot.
