Ok, I love traditions but bake one of them 3-5 hours is not easy. But Thanksgiving is a day of family gatherings. And Turkey Day.
So, these are my main dishes. In 2005, it was a “young turkey breast” from PathMark. It was my first Thanksgiving turkey and I was very proud.
In 2006, it was a turkey with stuffing, which (stuffing, not turkey) we didn’t like. Since then I have not stuffed turkey.
In 2007, I cooked bird in traditional style – rosemary, sage, black pepper and butter.
In 2008, it was a juicy turkey with cider glaze. And I finally decorated it.
This year I would like to try Roast Turkey with Wild Mushroom Gravy. Or something else. My in-lows are a little bit conservative about food, so I try not to experiment much.

…when cooking ground beef use a potato masher to break the meat into chunks.
Today is National Apple Betty Day, so there is recipe. Adapted from Taste of Home site. Fast and easy.
